TEKS Math Guide for STAAR is a comprehensive resource for teachers and parents to use in their diagnosing, teaching, and assessing mastery of the state mandated readiness and supporting standards.
A diagnostic test, practice pages, and an assessment are provided for each tested TEKS. Problems reflect a higher cognitive complexity level as prescribed by TEA in STAAR. Open-ended (griddable) items are included to give students an opportunity to practice problems in the STAAR test format. All problems have been written to allow students to practice the testing format, vocabulary, and answer choices found in testing models.
